How to test V16

We are currenty running v15.5.
I would like to install and test v16 before upgrading out v15.5 to v16.
I am struggling to understand the best way to do the install of v16 and test without affecting production.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What aspect did you want to test? You can of course spin up a free trial via PBXExpress

I want to install it and test the office 365 integration using a couple of test accounts.
It will be hosted on a Hyper-V server

This won`t affect my prod 3cx system?

If you create a new free trial account that will be hosted by 3CX it will be completely independent of your production. You can use the Webclient to log in extensions (or the Desktop and mobile clients)

Once you are happy with it, you can upgrade your production to V16 and the trial instance will automatically be deleted within 3 months.
