Hi

Is anyone have succeed to use the Htek pohones with 3cx? I have bought one of those on the list they support and never register the phone on system. I have done all steps they mention about firmware but again nothing. any idea or tips ?

regards
Georgios

If you are using on premise it should be just plug and play for provisioning.

These are your methods of setup for a preferred phone like HTEK: https://www.3cx.com/sip-phones/

Ensure that your SIP registrations are not being blocked and the firewall checker passes also.

I have tried all this methods and i think the best is for me the RPS since PBX is on different public IP as the phone. It is provisioning but phone stays not registered. It ask me extention and pin , no error until there but never register to be able to use it. Windows clients , android clkients etc works fine but not this one.

Regards
Georgios

@Georgios Did the phone provision successfully after entering the extension and pin? Have you followed the correct way of provisioning via STUN ensuring the required ports are open?

Yes its provisioned correctly. But stays not registered.

In this case it would be a good idea to run a wireshark capture to see if the phone tries to register and what the pbx replies to it

3CX Phone System Management Console ID: 10018

RPS request for Htek UC926E IP Phone of Georgios Atsigkioz (031) delivered successfully

From 3cx server. But still i get not registered on the phone. All ports are opened needed since i see FW logs and nothing blocking.

Under the extension options, please make sure that "Disallow use of extension outside the LAN" is not ticked. You can temporarily increase your PBX logging level to verbose to see more detail, you should be able to see the phone register attempt (and then put the logging level back to low of course).

I have allready checked those.9732

How do i change logging to verbose?

Click on Activity Log from management console, and then settings. Restart the phone and give it some time to communicate, then check your logs by filtering for register messages from the extension. Switch logging level back to low when you are done.

ok, i had it on verbose, those are the latest logs after restarting the phone. Both based on IP is my PC with windows 3cx. Just an info i try to provision the phone on existing extention.

This is not the HTek phone. User-Agent: 3CXPhone for Windows

So if invites don't arrive from them phone I would recommend you check what ports are defined in the provisioning of the extension and ensure that those are open on both ends for the SIP messages to flow.

Some useful reading material can be found on the academy to help you out

https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/intermediate/configuring-remote-extensions/

I know this is my problem. All ports are opened from the network is connected the phone to 3cx server. ON firewall nothing is blocking communication. Phone is provisioned but not registered so something is wrong with server communication to the phone. Nothing else on the logs.
