Htek UC924 Ringtones Changes with update to 3cx V.15.5

Recently upgraded to latest version of 3cx and the required firmware update for our UC924 phones.

The ringtone that is now default is awful and extremely jarring.
We've been able to change the tone on the phones web interface however it is reset after a number of hours when the phones re-provision.

Anyone know of an easy & permanent fix?

Under the provisioning tab for each phone, change the default ringtone

After the change click on ‘reprovision’ tab to push out the changes or wait until 3cx pushes out the changes

Hi Saqqara,

We've tried that route as our first step however it seems that the Htek phone prioritize the "Alert Tone" field in their web-interface over the provisioning field choice that we set.

The attached screen shot shows the Htek web interface with the offending tone. We've set in 3cx tone 6 however this tone 2 is the current ring. It's more suitable as an alarm than a ring : (

It's common for many phones to prioritize what is changed in the web interface over the provisioning interface unless the parameter to enforce the provisioning change is set. Please confirm that you've factory reset the phones and then tried the 3CX method of setting the ring tone and are not getting the desired result.

Please note that the screenshots you posted show the Alert info ring tones which are not the default ring tones. This ring tones apply if you get an external call or a call from an IVR. The default ring tone of the phone which can be provisioned through the management console can be found under Settings / Preference in the phones web interface. That is what is being provisioned through the 3CX management console.
