Hello,
Just created account and opted for free SMB.
ISSUE:

Hello, after creating an account and opting for the free SMB option, I see the account icon top right. However, any of the options there brings me to a page saying I "need to create a subscription".When I click, I am taken back to the page with the 2 options: shared/dedicated with the first saying "deployed".I am stuck and want to go on to try the free SMB option!Best regards,

ALREADY TRIED / SUGGESTED

  • The portal is asking you to create a subscription, then returns you to the page showing Shared/Dedicated options with “deployed.” This message alone does not confirm that your existing SMB Free system is unavailable or that an upgrade is required. This needs an account/subscription check. Please include the exact portal message and explain which existing system or account area you cannot access. Do not include your password, license key, or other sensitive information. If you can already open the existing Web Client, you can continue with tenant setup there; however, that will not resolve the portal account issue. For further help, visit the 3CX Community and post in SMB forum. You will need to post it yourself; I cannot send this chat for you.
  • The exact message confirms that the portal is requiring a Self Managed or 3CX Hosted subscription before allowing account access. It does not by itself prove that your existing SMB Free system was deleted or that an upgrade is required. This is an account/subscription access issue and needs an account check. Include the message you pasted and explain that, after choosing SMB Free, the portal returns you to the Shared/Dedicated deployment page and prevents access to your account. Do not include passwords or license keys. For further help, visit the 3CX Community and post in SMB forum. You will need to post it yourself; I cannot send this chat for you.

Hey,
Login credentials are provided during deployment, if you did not receive your credentials you will have an email with the information where you can visit the URL and request a Forgot password.

Regarding Portal access there have been changes to SMB https://www.3cx.com/blog/news/smb-portal-access/

Hi,
Thanks for reaction.
You got me fully confused!
Do you mean that SMB free will diappear and only paid options remain available?
I did NOT receive any email after initial creation of my account (I entered an email address and password).
I indicated I wanted SMB free. So what do I do now??
What URL to go to to start using/trying 3CX?
Thanks

@LVL SMB systems are hosted by 3CX and fully managed from the webclient admin section. This is why you do not have 3CX account access.

Were you looking specifically for a free edition?

We have checked and the email you used for SMB sign up is not blocked by 3CX. If you do not see any emails from @3cx.com or 3cx.net, I can help by deleting your current account so you can start over - this time you can make sure to save login credentials when prompted to create a password.
Let me know if you want to start over?

Hi,
In the meantime, I got the management panel open and started filling in the users to get my trial underway.
And yes, the aim was to use the free SMB option!
Thanks for your concern!
Best regards
