Hello,

Recently a 3CX client has increased the number of users dramatically recently and we're looking to move them to a better performing VM on AWS Lightsail. What is the easiest way to go about that? I see an article with AWS (https://aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/change-lightsail-plan/) that explains how to do that with the VM but will this work with the 3CX phone system without any issues with FQN or making sure the right ports are open? My main concern is that since we're not going through the PBX Express, the ports that need to be opened through that won't when we follow this article.

Any insight would be appreciated!

Two ways:

1. Snapshot, shut down, spin a new up from the snapshot and assign the IP to it. Usually works 95% of the times.

2. Spin up from a backup using PBXExpress and it will take care of the ports (still check them afterwards to be sure.)
