So... anyone else have an idea how to fix the direct SIP problem?

I have put the PBX direct connect to internet (NO NAT), the direct SIP also not works. I think may be next or next next version can be solved this issue.

so... anyone from 3cx reading this???

is it a bug?
so i don

It might be a bug (see the word might).

it is something that needs to be tested in the lab. You will have the same problem when you configure call forward on the phone (not using the call forward button).

My take on this is that, yes there might be a bug in the direct sip to sip, not only that it might try to use the same ports for both the initiator and terminator, this will clash.

If you can (if you have purchased the version) log it as a bug/issue and 3cx will look at it.

I think it is a bug or a non documented feature :-).

For what it is worth, i cannot get it to work either.

no one from 3cx read this :?: :?: :?:

System should have an extension with SIP ID = 1022 to process your call. Just put '1022' into 'SIP ID' field of 'Other options' of an extension that should receive direct SIP calls to [email protected]

Hi archie,

thanks for answer but it does not work :-(

I changed the SIP ID field to only 1022 but got the same error message (CM010001) as posted in my first post in this thread.

Make sure that in the 'Settings for Direct SIP Calls' you have specified 'Local SIP domain' to be exactly sip.mydom.net. It MUST match host part of To: field of incoming INVITE. Make sure that incoming INVITE has
To: <sip:[email protected]>

Hi archie,

yes it is so :!:

I checked this before and now again, it is sip.mydom.net

FIX for direct sip call:

1. Delete all empty "sipDomain=" entries from 3CXPhoneSystem.ini file and leave only one that specifies PBX domain
2. ONLY user part of sip address must be specified in "SIP ID" field
it means if you sipid is "user@domain" you must specify only "user" in SIP ID field

Stepan

Yeah, we just discovered small but annoying bug.
Please, open your 3CXPhoneSystem.ini file and remove all strings where sipDomain =
(I mean is empty)
Make sure that in [General] section of the file there's only one sipDomain string, exactly
sipDomain = sip.mydom.net

Hi archie and sy,

thanks for that importend info.

I'm on the road today, i will test it tomorrow.
