If an inbound caller hangs up while the DR message is playing, the line doesn't disconnect. status light remains yellow, the counter continues, and the Uplink light on the gateway (MP114) flashes rapidly. Physically disconnecting and reconnecting the gateway port to PSTN clears the condition immediately.

If the inbound caller makes any selection when in DR, the call continues and completes normally.

Using the free version (3.xx) until we can prove the concept.

Please help while I still have some hair left!

Oops, missed a line from the server status log.

The top entry is when the gateway port is disconnected and reconnected.

The core of the problem is you gateway not PBX. Its simply incorrectly listen for call cancelling from PSTN side. Try to add listening volume in PSTN line settings of you gateway. Or it may be necessary to theck the GW manual and local PSTN provider for rigth settings.

I believe I've found it.

Protocol Management/Advanced Parameters/General Parameters/
Disconnect on Silence Detection - Yes
Silence Detection Period - 10
Silence Dectection Method - All

The PSTN line is now consistently released after a 1 to 2 minute delay. Seems like a long time when you're waiting for it but at least I eventually get the line back.

Will continue to see if I can improve the delay.

Anyone having this problem please let me know if this works for you.
