Good afternoon all,

Trying to route a single DID that is connected to a Patton ATA to an extension. The three analog lines connected to the ATA now go straight to a ring group, but the customer would like to make one of the lines go straight to an extension. We have added inbound rules for the DID, as well as adding the DID to the extension, but any calls directly to that line are still going to the ring group.

Seems like I am missing something simple...do things work differently from SIP trunks with analog/POTS lines connected to an ATA?

Thanks in advance!

DID information is taken from a different field, in the invite, than caller ID, so....from a PSTN gateway, the DID number must be datafilled against one incoming line (trunk), and then that number along with any caller ID must be optioned to be sent by the gateway to 3CX.

See Step 5, Inbound rules...

This may vary, depending on your particular gateway model.

Perfect, that fixed it. Thanks, Leejor!
