So, I have like 500 inbound rules (DID types). I want to bulk import 60 additional DID rules: would this import destroy my 500 existing ones and replace them with the 60 new ones?

Hi korken,

The DID rules are unique per DID and Trunk, so the ones already existing are not overwritten. You will get an import error and will tell you the lines that the port and DID matched.

If you want to be sure, export the ones you have now to have a backup CSV.

You can also run a backup of 3CX before making any changes generally speaking.

Well, I forgot to mention these addional DID rules are related to an entirely newly set up SIP Trunk. So, I am safe to go then? Backups are already taken, that's for sure.

Take a deeper look first,if you export your DID rules and open the CSV, you will notice the MASK and PORTS headers.

Mask is the DID as you can clearly see

Port is the trunk device number (i.e my first trunk is 10000, my second is 10001, my third is 10002 etc)

It needs to match the trunk ID, so if it does not it will simply fail to import anything.
