Incoming call from mobile phone numbers of extension

Hi,

some of the extensions also have a mobile phone number assigned. While this mobile number can be seen in the PBX address book still on an incoming call the name of the extension user is not shown. Only the mobile number is displayed.
How can I change this?

So there is an entry in the Company Phonebook, for a match to be made, or, because the mobile number is entered in the extension options, you expect it to be taken from there?

To clarify:

• The extension (aka the user) has a mobile number assigned on the extension page
• In the 3CX address book (within the 3CX app) the user shows up with it's extension number and mobile number
• If a call from the user's mobile number comes in, only the number is shown, not the name

Correct, this is the intended behavior. The user is calling from the mobile, and the system does not control or own that mobile like it does it's extensions. Just because it is assigned under the extension's "Mobile" field does not mean that incoming calls from it should show the Extension name (and it shouldn't otherwise i can add your extension number to my "mobile" field and make calls from my extension pretending to be you)

If you want it to show up, you need to add it to the company contacts.

OK, I did not notice that a user can set it's own mobile phone number.

So the next usability problem:
Adding users to the company contacts results in showing this user twice in 3CX app's contact section: one entry in "local PBX" and one entry in "company contacts".
As the users are confused enough of finding company contacts in "status" and "contacts" this makes things worse.

You can prefix the names with "Mob." as the first name, and include their whole name in the last name field. It can help your users identify it better.
