Incoming calls are met with dead air - the caller hears nothing. The call logs show the call was "not answered", and the activity log says call to sip:xyz has failed: Cause: 487 Request Cancelled/INVITE from ABC. The caller does not even hear the phone ring.

This is a problem that came on slowly over the past 3-4 weeks, starting out at just a few calls a day and continually got worse over the next few weeks until now almost all calls fail.

The strange thing is, if I save a setting, even without making a change, it will work fine for the next 4 or so phone calls and then go back to failing before a conversation can start. I changed the one inbound rule by having it send the call to an employee's extension instead of a call group. It worked fine for a few calls and then stopped working. After playing around with it, I realized I just had to click OK (save) and that would trigger it to work for a few calls. Changing the inbound rule itself actually had no effect.

I deleted and recreated the SIP trunk and inbound rule, but it had no effect on the problem. I'm using a non-supported SIP provider, but I'm using the same SIP provider and almost the same version of 3CX at my office and I'm not having any issues.

This is version 15.5.1694, and the phones are Yealink SIP-T48G

Any help is greatly appreciated.

So step 1 would be to update. You aren't even current on the v15.5 line which was EOS in July
