Hi everyone,
I configured elastix as below:-
We have E1 line with 200 numbers, 30 channels. I had configured the right numbers to link from my voice gateway to elastix.
company number: 035XXXXXX1
direct number: 035XXXXXX2 (link to ext 1000)
inbound and outbound routes configured correctly
ext 1000
follow me: HUNT
- 1000
- 10001 (my iphone's bria soft phone client)
- 0193XXXXX9# (this is my hand phone number)
Below are the tested scenarios:-
a. Customer (0125XXXXXX - his mobile number) called my direct number 035XXXXXX2. It will show the customer handphone number at my Bria3 softphone or Yealink SIP-T28P. Tested OKAY.
b. If I don't pick up on point a, then it will go to my iphone's bria. At this time, it will show the customer handphone number (0125XXXXXX). Tested OKAY.
c. Now if I don't pick up on point b, elastix will dial to my hand phone number here 0193XXXXX9# (as configured in follow me, check above). So when I get a call, it will show my company number (035XXXXXX1) instead of the customer's hand phone (0125XXXXXX). Tested FAIL.
Why is point c not showing the actual customer's mobile number?
My trunk (outbound route using this) as follows:-
- connected to my E1 line (only this connection on my system, no other ITSB or SIP providers)
- Outbound caller id, my company number (035XXXXXX1). If i don't set this, there's no difference too. Point c still happens.
- Outgoing Settings:-
Trunk: MyE1
host=192.168.1.2 (my elastix server ip)
type=peer
- Incoming Settings:-
User Context: MyE1-incoming
host=192.168.1.2
type=peer
context=from-trunk
- the rest all default. The settings above should be okay as it works for my office's Yealink IP Phone to call mobile number, other local number as well as receive.
Any help on this? Thanks in advance.
