I am trying to set up an incoming CID rule but the robo caller changes the CID with each call by using date and time in the CID.
the call comes from a number of different exchange codes and line numbers, not just a simple full block.
[Flow] Looking for inbound target: called=1XXXXXXXXXX; caller="V6151208000002099537" <sip:18042209671@:0>
The "V" and the "2099537" are always the same. the 6 is June, 15 is the 15th, 1208 is the time. This changes with every call they make to us.
I tried an inbound CID for V*2099537 and for V************2099537 but neither words. I did not want to use V* since we do get calls from business that start with V in the CID. The rule is at the top of the inbound rules. (All my CIDs are first, then the DIDs).
When I look at the whole call log, I tried to find their IP, but I only find mine and my trunk providers.
I know I can list the single numbers, but they are forever changing and that list would be crazy long to keep up.
Any suggestions?
