Hello,

I am setting up the phone system for a my dad's office (so, friendly customer here). It's my first try with the hosted 3CX offer.

I created a hosted instance on his email. I then set Office 365/Teams integration, and gave my email (on his company, dadcompany.com) admin permissions. Everything seems to be working fine. I then tried to login to the 3CX User Portal using my [email protected] email. It gave me a different license.

But for some reason, in my Customers list, I have:

The first is the license I am using for Dad's company, under [email protected]. It is working, hosted, but for some reason it says it is not installed (y I click on the right menu) and does not show a FQDN below the license.

The third is a new license key I got as a trial under the [email protected] email address.

What I would like to do is either a) change the owner of the first license key to my email and fix it so it says that it is installed and shows the FQDN, or b) change the license key on the running instance to the third key on the list (under my account as the administrator), and forget about the first key.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Luis

Hello Luis,

Regarding - changing the owner email you can do this from your customer portal:
https://portal.3cx.com/
Login using the username (admin email) and password.
Select My Account Tab and you can change it from there.

Regarding - Changing your License Key - Note that this is not possible on Hosted Instances

Regarding the issue you have with the FQDN not showing please open a ticket with us and Share the License Key with the issue to check it further
