Install failure

Hi everybody!

I have a problem...

When I'm installing the "3CXPhoneSystem5.exe" file, a few sec, and the next popup window come up:

"Supported Operating System are the following:
Windows XP SP2 or later..."

I have a Windows XP SP2, I don't understand, why don't run the setup procedure.

Can somebody help me?

do you have all the latest update patch for windows xp installed. please try and update windows and then try installing again.... please let us know any further issue with the same or even if it works out fine let us know...

Is it XP Pro or Home?
I dont have a clue if it makes a difference, but home ed have less options on LAN and domains.

Nope, XP Home has a 5 computer connection limit for CIFS shares, IIS, printing and remote access.

See section 1.3 - and an interesting nuance whereby I don't believe "telephony" in this case refers to the use of 3rd party telephony services overlaid onto an XP home license.

As an aside, you'd be pretty daft to install it on XP Home anyway if you wish to do anything other than basic testing/demoing of the PBX. It has no facilities for redundancy (unless you use it as a guest OS in a VM of course)

My operation system is XP SP2 Professional, but Hungary!

I have installed an english (US) version and everything all right)

I think, the installer don't accept international XP...

English XP and don't worry)

This was brought up before. A language issue. Don't recall what country it was but when he went English all was well.

The issue is that certain languages report "Windows XP Service Pack 2" instead of "Windows XP SP2". This doesn't agree with our installer. If anyone else has this issue, please pm me.

I have this same error with polish version. When you fix this bug? Yours programm work only english (us) version

3CX NOT only support English. :shock:
It works at Windows Chinese Simplify and Chinese Traditional version as well.
