Hello,

One of our customers called us to tell that some groupal and individual chats are suddenly missing, and some of the ones that didn't dissapear throws this error when trying to open it:

I tried to look at the logs in 'audit log', 'events' and 'activity log' to see what happened, but no single word about chats.

Is there a way to restore chats that had disappeared or those that when accessed give the error 'chat conversation is invalid or no longer exists'?
If I have a backup of the PBX from a day or two before the chats went missing, is there anything I can do to restore it?
Is there somewhere to look up who and when created the chat?

The client says that the chats have suddenly stopped working and assures that no one of his working team has deleted anything, that it was 3cx that on its own decided to delete certain group or individual chats, something we know in computing is that devices dont do things on their own, so I would need to know if there is somewhere to see who has deleted or modified the chat. In the 'audit logs' I can see this information of practically any modification in the PBX with the exception of the chats, where is this logged onto 3cx system

Regards

Hello everyone

Any news about this subject?

I just noticed the same, we put 3CX in production in our environment about a week ago, today I created a chat group to test the feature but after sending the first message the group disappeared both from the iOS app and the desktop app. Looks like it never existed.

Thanks

I just witnessed the same problem here, the company has several groups in the chat and after deleting a user and creating a new one, all the group chats disappeared, as it is a customer undergoing approval who is about to migrate to a license, he still uses 3cx free, I have no way to pull more information from the management console, and I also don't know how I can restore these chats to the customer.
