iOS 14, latest app, transferring calls/scrolling through contacts crashes the app

I just had a user report the exact same issue after the recent iOS update on their device. I was only running version 16 Update 5 on the server, so I went from that to Update 6a...and that didn't resolve the issue. I still need to gather phone version, etc. from the user, but it looks like we're not alone with this issue. I can successfully replicate the issue from my own phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max, latest version of iOS and the 3CX app).

I just tried the latest beta version of the app (16.1.5.26) and experienced the same issue. I have iPhone contacts disabled in the 3CX app settings, so when scrolling the contacts list during a transfer it's only showing our 60 (or so) users. The app crashes almost immediately when scrolling through the contact list.

I also disabled the iPhone contacts (permission is just not allowed).

I don't have this issue and we have around 100 contacts.

Same issue here, strange thing is when we use our own account no problem, customers account (same phone/app) crash even after a migration to the cloud. So it must be a combination of config/app on the latest iOS. (Running beta)

The did. (Always very quick btw) tech support send it to R&D with all the crash reports, so no ETA on when this is resolved unfortunately. We have only one customer (out of many) with this problem. Can’t reproduce at other customers with same kind of setup.

is there any news on this topic?

what else I found out. I have several 3CX installations. the specified problem is only with one. the problematic installation has its own FQDN and manually installed certificates. other installations use FQDN and certificates from 3CX and there are no problems. maybe that's it.
and more. switching to the new version 16.1.5.43 does not solve the problem.

I'm still seeing the same issue with 16.1.5.43 as well. We have our own FQDN and manually installed certs...so maybe you're on to something there.

we haven't found anything yet. strange that @Vali_3CX is silent.

Agree, i understand a new iOS can cause some difficulties but this is a very unsatisfying to the customer.

To check, I disabled "get user statuses" from a remote PBX over the bridge. This removed the problem for Iphone 11, but not for Iphone 11 Pro and SE.

For our client they're using a 3CX cert.

it seems that everyone is busy with new features and no one cares about our problems

Today I updated to IOS14. 2. The specified error is no longer present

Updating to iOS 14.2 fixed the issue here as well.

14.2 fixed it for us as well.
