Hi,
I received often different IP address that has been black listed in my ip black llist.

I would like to know how to stop to received blacklisted ip addresses?

IP 45.87.212.60 has been blacklisted on PBX xxxxxxxxxxx.my3cx.ca.

Affected Module: SIP Server/Call Manager User agent: Avaya IP Phone 1120E

The IP 45.87.212.60 has been blacklisted for 86400 seconds. (Expires at: 2020/06/06 08:08:11).

Reason: Too many failed authentications! This IP Address has made numerous attempts to authenticate with 3CX with invalid authentication details. Therefore a blacklist rule has been created denying this IP to continue sending requests.

In the management console go to Settings->Email on the Notifications tab remove the check on An IP has been blacklisted, then click on save at the top of the page.

Thank you for your precious reply. I will apply your recommendation. But regarding to stop to receive ip address black listed everyday. How to do it?

I just received a second message again, after i removed ip address from black listed address:

Hi,

If you are on V16, you can go to the PBX Settings > Security > Anti-Hacking > Automatic Global 3CX IP Blacklist

This will greatly reduce the number of blacklisted IPs but they will not stop appearing entirely. It should not be a reason to worry though because it means the attacker was stopped.

You can also increase the expiry time, before an IP is able to make another attempt. You can blacklist, permanently an IP, or a range range of IPs, as some hackers, when blocked, will simply keep incrementing their IP by 1.

IMO keeping notification enabled is better than disabled, almost you have information about hack attempt

Okay guys thank you for your replies. but after review. I find out the ip blacklisted was from my trunk. it was not an hacker. i don't want the system put my trunk ip address to black list each time somebody try to call me. How to solve that problem?

IMO = in my opinion :)
your trunk is IP based or authenticated?

You can Whitelist any IP. I normally Whitelist my local LAN, as, in the past, I've had ATAs that have been blacklisted, at times, for some reason.
