Hello, community.

I have an iPhone ioS v.13.4.1 with 3CX v.16.0.2.107 installed running under windows

since my user does not use frequently the iPhone, now that I tried on my own I see that we can no longer receive any calls unless the app is open and 3CX is running. If it runs in the back then again I get no incoming calls.

could anyone please advise why this is happening? is anyone else facing the same issue and how can I fix this.

thanks
Mike

windows 7 ultimate

thank you.

Oh, I see.

I had a bad experience when I tried to upgrade the workstation to win10 so I kept my win7 setup.

is there another way to bypass this issue and have my iOS devices working under win7 ?

thank you.

Windows 7 is not supported because it does not have the necessary push mechanism required for newer iOS Operating System from Apple.
It is not a 3cx issue per se.

Hi @mikeB200

Please be advised that the OS you are using is not supported and we recommend you move the installation to a newer OS as soon as possible (this is regardless of iOS).

The new iOS app is also coming out very soon and it will not be able to work with anything older than V16.0.5.611

We can provide you with assistance and can answer any questions you have before you proceed. In case you are familiar with Debian you can install it for free using our ISO or you can upgrade your Windows to Windows 10 Pro. If you decide to stay on Windows, it would be best to wipe the machine and start fresh rather than upgrade the existing installation in place.

It is highly recommended that the server is dedicated to 3CX and no other software installed other than the OS and drivers.

Let us know and we will be glad to help.

Do a backup , keep it safe out of PBX.
then use windows upgrade tool to upgrade from 7 to 10 V 2004, 7 key license is working for W10.
after WU , remove 3CX, install latest release and restore during install.
you're done.
