Live Chat & Talk (via WordPress plug in and using code generator) or directly via https://DOMAIN.3cx.us/callus/#queue works great on desktop browsers!
However we have been unable to get it to work in any usable fashion on iOS and Android devices. Phones appear to open the client, but tablets (at least my iPad) report "server stopped responding". Everything from size of the chat box, needing to hit return vs done, video call starting but disappearing, changing tabs closing the connection, etc.
Here are two other unresolved threads on this topic from earlier this year:
https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/mobile-interface-with-click2chat.71960/
https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/callus-js-not-working-with-mobile-browsers-3cx-16-0-493.70168/
Has anyone gotten this to work on a mobile device? Does it work as well as Clearly there is a on/off selector for supporting mobile on both the WP plugin and the Code Generator. So one would presume that this means the developers intended for it to work. Or does it mean they don't think it will work? From our evaluation it looks like all the issues are within callus.js. Is there any status on the development or a code repo of the javascript we can fork?
We need our platforms to be "mobile first" so it essential to have a good solution on mobile devices. We'd be very happy if the mobile was close to the desktop experience for this.
