Hi 3CX,

https://www.3cx.com/docs/recommended-hardware-specifications-for-3cx/#h.zeoyi5w0lmgf says KVM is supported. Per https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/debian-install-3cx.73274/, is Virtuozzo 7's KVM supported or not?

If not, can the requirements list be updated to reflect which types of KVM are compatible?

For reference our Virtuozzo 7 has installed:

Thanks,

Hi @3cx, @NickD_3CX and @JohnS_3CX, sorry to bug you personally but do you happen to know the answer? (whether all varieties of KVM are supported)

Thanks,

I asked 3CX's partner team and they said to keep waiting until someone answers in this thread, so I'm bumping the thread.

@StefanW Do you know who at 3CX would know if some types of KVM are not supported?

No, it is not supported as it abstract the network layer beyond what KVM/VMware etc are doing (container-based abstract layer). Supported are native use of

using 3CX ISO:
Vmware ESXi
Microsoft Hyper-V (follow guides for setup instructions)
KVM native
Citrix Xen
--------------------------
using Marketplace or PBXexpress:
Amazone EC2/LightSail
Google Cloud (GCP)
Microsoft Azure
OVH

Thanks for your reply. Just to clarify one point though you mentioned containers and we're using VMs. I am a bit surprised as we've had no issues in the past year on any installation.
