I am having a difficult time updating the certificate we use for 3CX. Currently running V15 and we are using a wildcard cert for our domain. I have alredy obtained the new wildcard cert through a request from a different server. So I need to know how do I update the cert when I don't have a .key file? Does IIS generate one when the cert is requested???

What I had to do on a few linux installs (as my SSL CA didn't like the native CSR) was generate CSR and complete the issuance of a cert from IIS, and then export the Cert from the the Windows Server. From there it should be a .pfx accompanied with a password for consumption.

As far as I'm aware, renewing your certificate is basically the exact same procedure as what you did when first issuing it, so the renewed certificate should be paired with the matching .key file.
