I did have this set up on a previous version on another system, working well. Now I want to try and use it again but can only get half way.
V18 U5, and want to use the SMS functionality with Twilio (open to other suggestions, but it appears to be tricky getting this working in the UK). I have set the SIP trunk up, where the messages go, and enabled chat and SMS for the user.
I can text from my mobile to the Twilio number, and it comes through on 3CX fine, working as it should (Twilio reports an error but I can ignore that). I can't reply from 3CX though, I just get the little red cross under the message.
In the 3CX event log, it says something about an incorrect username. At least that much is helpful, but I've tried every API key and account SID I have, along with any possible password, and nothing seems to work.
Does anyone know what credentials I should be using, and where I correctly enter them please? Is it the Authentication section on the SIP Trunk - if so is it just incoming/outgoing/account based? Our partner doesn't want to help, Twilio doesn't want to help. At a loss, but I figured someone has done it before successfully surely?!
