Hello,

I wonder if anyone has any idea why a call to a number with a trunk set up correctly is always diverted to the operator extension?

The trunk uses a full national format invite, 3CX has the same national number in the DID on the trunk.

Yet when the call comes in (i can see the correct DID on invite) it just goes to the operator rather than the extension.

Any help appreciated!

Paul

It sounds like it is routing the call based on the SIP Trunk routing. You can confirm this by changing it to something else from within "SIP Trunks >> Edit >> Route Calls to".

I assume you have already created a DID/Inbound Rule and that is the one that is not being followed? Try adding a DID on the Trunk using an asterisk to act as a wildcard such as: *123456 and then create an Inbound Rule for it. Does that work?

Note: You'll need to add at least 6 digits + the asterisk.

Also, which SIP Provider are you using? Is it a 3CX Supported Provider?

Voiceflex provide the trunk.

I added the asterisk with the same result. Straight to operator.

Is there any way i can provide you with the call log? Obviously it includes IPs and DDIs.

Devlopment, i had two trunks set up with same provider. Now, when i attempt to dial in, i get busy here constantly with an error on the logs:

[CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req

[CM302002]: Authentication failed due to unidentified source of: SipReq:
