Hello, I'm having some issues with using DIDs provided by my VOIP provided.
The provider is not supported so it is configured as Generic.
We have two DIDs one with +52 (plus 10 digits) and other with +34 (plus 9 digits), these DIDs share the same trunk. When we get dialed by the +34 by some reason it appears as we are getting called by the +52 number (Not a big deal, just annoying).
The problem is that cannot figure out how to make 3CX choose the most appropiate DID number based on the number length or prefix for outbound calls, it chooses the Main trunk No. (+52) and that's what appears as the caller ID.
How do I create rules for using certain DIDs?
Sorry if it has been asked before, but I'm a little new to VOIP.

Your post is a little confusing but it sounds like you need to read this link:

Outbound Rules – A Complete Example (3cx.com)

That will tell you how to create outbound rules. What is not covered in that old article is that in the outbound rules section you can now define what caller ID number you want to push out per rule. If you have trouble with that, you need to work with your provider to see why it's not working.

You seem to be describing two different issues. The first, that your provider is not sending the DID number with the correct country prefix, and the second, thet you are unable to send the desired caller ID when placing a call. In the first, if it is a provider issue, of not formatting the DID number correctly, wrong country code (or is it caller ID?), you would have to use wildcards, in the DID rules, to only make use of the last part of the phone number, to match a rule, ignoring a country code. If it is indeed, a caller Id issue, then that is something your provider would have to correct.

As far as outbound call, you'd have to describe the scenario in more detail.
