I have been 3CX self hosted Professional for the past month or so without issues. Last night it showed that my flow route trunk was down. I tried a handful of things, but ultimately tried to readd the trunk without any progress.

It passes the firewall check without issues. the SIP trunk looks to be set up properly.- same as it has been for the last month. I don't really think anything changed. I know automatic updates are set for Saturday night, so is it possible that it updated and caused issues? I show version as: 18.0 update 9 (build 23)

After I was trying to add a sip trunk a few times i blacklisted an IP i don't recognize. But i wonder if its a 3CX IP or maybe a flowroute IP, since i get the notice when i was trying multiple things to get the trunk working again.

I am pretty new to this system, so any help would be appreciated.

the IP was 205.209.104.2

I was wondering that, so I did check that list last night, didn't see it on there. I also deleted it off the black list but it didn't change anything.

You need to turn logging to verbose, force registration to refresh, and see what logs show.

Alternatively. a packet capture might help show you what's going on.

This is what I get on logs after refreshing registration. I can try a packet capture as well if that would be helpful.

Is DNS on your PBX ok? Can it resolve us-west-or.sip.flowroute.com? Can it lookup the SIP records?

When i look up my Domain name it comes back to my IP address of my house. When It went down was close the time I logged in to the portal remotely from my house. The IP address should match my office address(address on the PBX host).

I am able to log in at my office using the LAN IP, but trying to use the Domain name it wont work.

I just restarted all services, domain name is now showing changed back to my office address IP, but still showing trunk down. Should I try deleting and re-adding trunk?

Resolved. Thanks for your help, It was a DNS issue. My ISP keeps blocking certain DNS, they don't believe me when I call in. I'll have to call them again and see what's up.
