IVR --> Announcements?

Hi there...I haven't found a way to play an announcement from an IVR and then return to the IVR.

Is there a way to do this? Usually used to make special announcements like for holilday schedules etc.

Sounds like something that is provided in
Settings / Time zones, Office hours, Holidays

Hi there....that might do it but not always related to time. we sometimes put a special announcement out at times. so we need to play an announcement based off an IVR selection

Not sure I have a full understanding of your objective - but - could you have your IVR selection just initiate another IVR that would contain your announcement?

You can either do that @12494 suggested and upon selection send the call to a different IVR or you could use the Call Flow designer and create the call flow you need.

I did what @12494 suggested but it seems to be a waste to use up an IVR. It would be nice to have a destination of announcements. Ok on CFD I'll have to take a look.

Thanks @12494 I thought that up last night after I posted this and going to use that for now.
@YiannisH_3CX I'll have to look at that. I've got the latest free version will CFD work with it?

Also why aren't any of the manuals in PDF form? I'd like to be able to save them and/or print them???

CFD only works with PRO or higher it says so what other options does one have? thanks
