Jabra Engage Headset Integration did not work

I have installed a new 3CX v16 Instance and the Chrome Integration. But the Buttons on the Jabra Headset didnt Work.





I could not select the Headset-Integration above, but in the other Window its selected ????

Can anyone help me, or had the same Problem?

Hi @dannath,

Did you follow the configuration guide for Jabra headsets here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/jabra-headsets/

You need Jabra Direct, the Jabra Browser Integration Extension for Chrome and the Jabra Chrome Host installed.

Yes, I have installed all three things. The firmware of the Jabra is actual 4.4.1

The only thing, that confuses me is, that in the WebClient the Headsetintegration (ohne) selected is,. And I could not change it, but in the extra Window Jabra is selected, as you can see in the pictures.

Hi @dannath,

Yes, because you selected it in the Browser Extension, it takes over control of the setting from the Web Client. If you uninstall the browser extension, or disable it you should be able to change the settings in the Web Client.

OK, that is also normal. but why the Buttons didnt work?
If I disable the browser Extension, I could change the setting in the webclient, but only to the Company Sennheiser.

in another Thread i found the hint: PRO License.

I installed a Free-(Test)-Version, for the Customer, which now is a Standard License. Later it would be upgraded to Pro.

But I dont want to buy a Pro license if this didnt work.

How can I check if this is the Problem?

Hi @dannath,

The PRO license limitation is specific to the Windows Client, and should not affect the Web Client / Browser Extension. I've tested on my own Jabra headset using a standard license and was still able to hang up the call using the HW button.

What version of the V16 are you running?

After escalation I've been informed that you do indeed need a PRO license and above to have the Jabra and Plantronics options on the list while Sennheiser is available from the STD edition.

As @Frederick Marcoux (who happens to conveniently be a partner) mentioned, if you link to a partner they can create a PoC key for you granting you PRO / ENT (according to your need) edition license access along with more SC if you require.
