Keeping BLF's synced across all phones

Is there an easy way to keep BLF configs synced across all phones?

I know I can select multiple phones when editing the configs but if I have phones with different configs some of the settings get lost sometimes.

What you mention would actually be the way to do it. The fact that sometimes BLFs are lost is actually expected in the cases where, an IP Phone already has BLF Keys and you've tried to add some via this method. The new ones will overwrite the existing BLF keys if you've selected the same BLF slots.

Shame that you can't create BLF templates and then apply then add phones to that BLF template. Would make things a lot easier.

Well, technically speaking, Since you can edit all extensions and therefore BLF keys at once, it still is like editing one "template". In any case, as mentioned previously this is the only way to do this so I hope it's enough to give you the desired results.

During bulk edit tho, it tends to lose some settings like Webmeeting and SMS.

We had some trouble with that in the past so we stopped using that method.

Bulk editing BLF keys specifically or using Bulk edit in general? If you do know a way of reproducing this do let me know because it definitely sounds like something we'd want to look into.

I will do some tests later today and see if I can reproduce it. I have to remember which fields were getting unset. I believe it was in the forwarding rules.

And what I mean is when we bulk edit, even if we just edit BLFs and save, it will corrupt some settings like, if I remember correctly, the "accept push notifications". If enabled it goes disabled, if disabled it goes enabled. That was during v16u8.

I just tried replicating this specific scenario on 3CX V16.0.8.9 and 3CX v18.0.0.1880 but unsuccessfully. In any case, do let us know if you can get this or similar behavior when testing so that we can dig further.

Yes! I will try a few things that I remember were buggy back then.
