We have renewed our 3CX license and the dashboard shows it as expired.

When I click expired and click the "Refresh License KeyInformation" I am shown a red banner with:

3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activation.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activation.3cx.com

I have performed an:
apt-get update

and then restarted the server but the problem remains.

Hi @Dercni

Glad to hear it was resolved. We sent mailers out to people regarding this, with instructions on what to do.

The reason the system was not updating is because your version was older and it had not received some critical updates, resulting in it not being able to contact activation any more.
