Hello,

Has anyone tried adding a Lifesize Express 220 in 3CX?
How do I create a phone that is not in the catalog?

Best,

You need to add it as a manual device or create a custom template... perhaps contact the vendor - they may have a 3cx Template available as Grandstream did when 3cx was not supporting the device.

I'll check with the manufacturer if I can get an XML. But how do you add it manually if in the phone options you do not have the Generic option?

Depends on your install... on my install at the office - Settings -> Templates -> New.
I think some shared hosted installs do not have the option.

The lifesize phone looks like a Grandstream rebranded. but the software is likely different.

You don't need to add it. The SIP credentials are already there the moment you create an extension. You just have to manually configure the endpoint.

Okay, but I do not want to add multiple devices manually.

II tried manually, but it does not register, it still has login error and password, but they are not wrong.

Finally LifeSize registered, however if I start the video call I can not switch to for audio and vice versa. I need to keep the call anyway. When I change or the call is muted (both sides) or the video does not open. How do I identify the difference between the video call and the audio call in the Log?

Not being a supported phone, there is no guarantee that there won't be problems. It sounds as if what you are experiencing may have something to do with the Codecs used when the call is first established, then having an issue attempting to change later in the call. Perhaps something to do with re-invite option?
Have you looked through the 3CX Activity log (verbose), for more information on the calls?

I agree with you. I tried to analyze the logs, but I did not identify the difference between voice and video call. How can I identify this difference in the logs?

Have you tried enabling re-invite and making sure that PBX Delivers Audio is disabled for the extension? The logs should show which Codec is being offered and used, which would differentiate a video and a voice call. As I said, you may need to enable the detailed logs (verbose), to see all.
