Link 3CX to another, non 3CX, PBX

Is it possible to link a 3CX, either v3 or v5, to another SIP IP PBX?

I am interested as we have a requirement to migrate users but not all in one go and they need to be on the same system, or the ability to call each other through local extensions.

Sorry if this is a bit vague, but I need to know if it's possible before we go much further.

Good morning

V5 has the ability to link 2 3CX boxes. I'm not sure if you can use the same linkage to cobble together a non 3CX server with a 3CX server.

I seem to remember someone had success connecting 2 boxes by using extentions that in turn were related to each box somehow. Basically each box had an extention on the other box.

You may want to search around the forum a bit.

It can be linked to Cisco Box Using Cisco Call Manager Express.

Please search this formu, it is explained how. I manage to configure it and to use it throgh Cisco 2801 Gateway running CME with SIP.
