Log in/out hot desking device based on time conditions

Hello 3CX users and members,

i got a request from a customer to try to automate the login/logout of some users into 2 hot desking devices, based on time conditions.
the idea is simple, like on monday and friday we would like that user 555 login automatically on HD001 device and user 444 login on HD002
and on tuesday and wednesday that user 588 login automaticaly on same HD001 device and user 488 on HD002

The log out feature is easy with the automatic logout feature built-in on 3CX,
but for the automated login, does someone see a possibility with a time condition based on CFD to perform this action?
or there is definitively no possibility for that.

For the login there is no option to automatically login since it is PIN protected.

First, even if it was possible to use a CFD application to do this, that would not be a reliable approach since you have to call the CFD to activate the code. Someone would have to remember after each reboot of the 3CX services (including booting the server) to call this extension and it is pretty likely sooner or later this step would be missed. You might be able to do something similar with a C# script without the call-first requirement.

Alternatively, it might be possible to use the 3CX Call Control API to perform this login/logout process on a scheduled basis, but at what cost? It would not be trivial to develop this solution (providing a recurring schedule, checking PINs, handling vacations, etc.). This seems like a lot of work just to eliminate the effort to login manually. But, perhaps this need is only part of a larger, more critical project?
