Hi All,

I have a system where we have enabled M365 for user sync / SSO.

The issue we are facing is that the refresh of the user does not seem to be happening and we are not seeing user updates.
I have disabled "Sync Microsoft 365 Users", done a service restart, then re-enabled - still no user sync updates.

I've left it for a few days as the documentation says "The synchronization is one-way (MS365 to 3CX) and happens once per day, during the night." but I've not seen it sync for a few days. (https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/microsoft-365/)

The M365 integration shows to be all ok...

Code:
Your Application ID for reference is db83e0f2-3c78-495b-a0e2-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Status OK. Real Time Notifications from 3CX to Microsoft 365 are working and in sync.

Nothing shows in Verbose logging either for M365 user sync.

Is there a command line option to force a sync and get some logs?

Best,

Lance

Hi,

Have you tried doing a reconfigure of the M365 integration? That should clear out any bad state on either side and regenerate tokens etc properly. If the integration was fine it should result to 0 changes on the PBX or Azure side, so fairly safe to try - but as always do take a backup before.

I would also check the time on the server for any time drift, just in case.

Have you got any restrictions in 365 such as conditional access or such?

Thanks @KyriacosS_3CX
We'll start with that and see how it goes.

@Alphabetic we don't manage the IT environment, so I'm not sure what they have configured but thanks for the thought :)

Very interesting one, it ended up being that the IT provider didn't have a First Name or Last Name on the user, only a Display Name.

3CX therefore couldn't bring the data in to match.

Some other interesting things which were helpful here were the OFFICE365_ parameters which allow you to kill off the connection and change the sync time.
