Make announcement to all phones that system going down?

Hi all,

We have had a request for a feature whereby all phones across all sites receive some sort of notification suggested by way of a call and automated announcement or maybe a message on the phone (Fanvils) to advise that the system is going down for maintenance etc.

Is there a means of accomplishing this in any form?

You could create an app using the call flow designer to play some text using text to speech but quite honestly I think the simplest method is a an email in advance advising of upcoming maintenance.

Thanks, I think I'd favour the e-mal route too as still find Call Flow Designer a bit tricky to master. Will consider and discuss the options and see if it's worth the CFD route or not.
