Master Voicemail Password for 3CX Phone System?

We are wondering if it is possible to set up a master pin for all phone accounts that tie into our 3CX phone system. On our prior phone system, we had one that the Company owner could use when he wanted to check on messages left on certain employees accounts. From the reading I have done it is not possible but I figured I'd ask if anyone has found a way to do this. Our License is Professional Annual, 15.5.15502, hosted locally. We use Yealink T46S phones, 30 in total in our company. We are enjoying the 3CX system so far. Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, each voicemail password is unique to each extension, there is no "master" password.

This feature doesn't exist but you can make a share on the folder where the voicemail files are on the server and give the owner read access to the folder.

You can also give them a logon to the management portal and they can go in and get a voicemail pin.

Thanks - I think what we are looking for is a single password that can be entered from any phone, and it's clear from the responses that it doesn't exist. Thank you for your quick responses. I really like 3CX and it's features.

The only solution, is to disable voicemail PIN number

Do not do this if you want to access your voicemail remotely by dialling into the 3cx system using an ivr or ddi

Yes - we will not be doing that. We will just manage the access and change policy for phones that randomly get messages left on. We'll keep it as an IT function. Thank you for your response.

Having a "Master Password", or any sort of back-door access, on any system is a serious security concern. It's just a matter of time before "everyone" knows it. How many "secret" passwords, for computer / networking hardware are easily found on the net.

This is not available. Also, the user will not know they have voicemail if someone hears it and they will miss it (its an old message and you will not get a notification).

Thank you for your responses. This was a request from the business owner who had it on his old system. I saw nothing about it in any of the research I did here, and wanted to confirm.

I think the closest you can come to this would be to setup VM to email to the business owner if it's not already setup. If it is, then the use of per extension distribution lists or some sort of mail flow rule to send a copy to the owner.
