Migration from hosted trial to local server failed

Hi,

I ran a backup of my hosted trial and tried restoring it to a local windows installation. When I uploaded the backup, it restored with the full FQDN even though it said it wouldn't back up that information. Now I cannot access my local installation and it keeps redirecting to the FQDN of the trial.

Any suggestions to reset and try the configuration again?

That doesn't sound like the migration failed. It sounds like you haven't waited long enough for DNS to propagate. If you use the same key as the trial, it will use the same FQDN. When you take a backup without FQDN and key it just doesn't store that in the backup. When you put in the key it phones home and sees the associated FQDN and then loads that. If you want to use a difference FQDN then you would release the FQDN before restoring.
