Hello,

we have a problem with our 3CX (Version 16.0.9). We are using the 3CX in combination with SNOM-Phones (SNOM D345).
If a number-extension gets called while the number-extension is already in an other call, missed call isn't showing up. We fixed it temporarily with activating "accept multiple calls" under "forwarding rules" from a number-extension in the 3CX. Missed calls are showing up now, but if a number-extension has multiple phones, the call is forwarded to the next free phone.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Kind regards,

Sadin

Hi Sadin,

This is normal, it's a device limitation because the call log on the phone only shows what the phone device received (regardless if your extension got more calls).

Your solution is correct, to enable multiple calls so the Snom will be sent another call while its busy (and it will appear in its log as a result).

As for the call being sent (not "forwarded") to the next free device, this is also normal. If an extension is free to take calls via 'Accept Multiple Calls', then all its devices/clients must ring because this is the intended purpose of this feature.

There is no way to prevent this, AND also get missed calls on the Snom at the same time.
You might want to disable 'Accept Multiple Calls' and then use your webclient in conjunction with the deskphone so you can see what calls were missed while you were busy.

Hi John,

thanks for the fast response. The problem is that we don't use webclients. We only use the SNOM deskphones, but it isn't so bad if there's no workaround. Anyway thanks for your time.

No problem, hope it's helpful in case you need to find a missed call in the future.
