Currently have 3cx running on a proxmox vm inside our firewall. We're having some quality issues and I want to move it DigitalOcean. However, DO doesn't accept .iso files for custom images. Is there a way to install on a DO VM? The linked Linux install directions direct you the ISO.

No I don't want it hosted by 3cx. We don't use azure, aws, or google. So those aren't options.

Before, you could install it manually using a barebone Debian 9 VM.

Unfortunately, those have been removed and it's stated that it's no longer supported.

I would just use another provider. Vultr is one that's good and does allow for custom ISOs.

If not, you'll have to use the supported providers or 3CX Hosted.

DO does let you use your own custom machine though. You just have to create the virtual disk first.

You can still install on a Debian VM, but it is more work and documentation is no longer available.

If I were you, I would build a new VM to put into the cloud, and then backup and restore your config from your existing one to your new one in the cloud.
