Hi all,

I am certainly in the wrong part of the forum but many parts seem unavailable as they say I don't have a self hosted PBX when I do. This is the first as I troll through each section where I have found I can post.

I have a Pi hosted system in my home (company) office, as such support finished for Pi systems and I can't get updates. This is possibly why it the section of the forum I think I should be able to post in I can't

I am trying to find info on moving from a locally Pi hosted free system which is no longer supported to the free cloud hosted system, questions such as...

A. How to migrate? Who does this (me? ok if so !) how long it takes, can it be seamless?
B. Transferring my approved trunk provider (Gradwell) to the cloud system? (changed charges from Gradwell.. ok not a 3CX question)
C. What changes I will have in my office to communicate with the cloud system (use the now redundant Pi? )
D. Who administers the free cloud system and if this is free? (system is unchanged since install 15 months ago)

If this post is moved to another section will I have access to it? and where should questions like this be posted?

And is there a web page with the answers to above questions?

Regards...

Thank you for choosing 3CX as your communication solution. We truly appreciate your trust in us and our services.

As a channel-based company, we understand the importance of having a smooth and seamless transition to a hosted by 3CX solution or a 3CX Startup (Free if you have less than 10 users). @Burt99 Yes the forum license detection is often incorrect. FWIW you are able to reply to other sections, just not ask questions.

AFAIK there is no migration to or from StartUP. Double check your SIP provider is supported, and note StartUP has a smaller list. https://www.3cx.com/partners/voip-providers/

If not using StartUP you can restore from backup. The Pi can be used as an SBC.

See https://www.3cx.com/docs/switch-hosted-pbx/ for more info. Or of course contact a partner. :)
