I have 3 different fax numbers for 3 different departments.

I see how you can add multiple DIDs to the fax server, but I need 3 different email addresses to receive from its respective DID. Example:

Fax DID 321-555-1111 sends to email departmentA@Company.com
Fax DID 321-555-2222 sends to email departmentB@Company.com
Fax DID 321-555-3333 sends to email departmentC@Company.com

I created an inbound rule for each DID with the unique email addresses (through the extension) for them, but...it looks like they still get sent to the Fax Server settings for extension 888.

Activity Log entries - the "has built target endpoing: Fax:888 for call" is certainly interesting.

How can I do this?

Thank you.

I'm confused. Can you please explain the actual problem? Are you saying the individual email addresses aren't receiving the faxes?

You don't need fax extensions, just create 3 regular extensions calling them by the company name and adding the email you want. Then assign the DIDs via Inbound Rules:

I have assigned inbound rules. However, the default email address is used from the Fax Server instead, not the email address defined on the extension.

My extension has email address...

I have an inbound rule for the x6599 DID:

But it still sends email to what is defined for "Fax Server" settings here:

Thank you for any help!

What do you have set as the destination of the main trunk number in your trunk settings?

I have set as the destination of the main trunk as 1xxxxxx6836. The fax line is 1xxxxxx6599.

Yes, but where does that route? Is it going to an extension or to fax as well?

Resolved.

Issue was that it was setup right. Fax emails were coming in, but to spam folder. Sorry and thanks to all who replied.

Glad to hear Matt
