Greetings all:

Our office is running 3CX and our residence is running Incredible PBX. I have extension 38 registered to a Cisco SPA504G phone in my residence which is connected to our office PBX running 3CX. I also have extension 101 registered to a Grandstream GXP1625 phone in my residence connected to the residence PBX running Incredible.

Heres my question:

I want to use the Grandstream IP phone for both systems. In theory, I wanted to connect the Incredible PBX to the first SIP Account and then the 3CX to the second SIP Account within the Grandstream phone. Now, I tried auto provisioning, and it seemed to work, but the phone was constantly ringing, as if it were trying to dial out. The second problem is that there was no sound. The second problem I believe is a mismatch between the audio codecs, so I will work on that.

Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated! If I forgot to provide a specific

Some phones are better able to "handle" line keys registered to different PBXs, or VoIP providers. I can see there possibly being problems with using auto provisioning on the second, and subsequent extension. I use several Cisco SPA525G with no issues, primarily as it allows manual provisioning through a GUI. Many sets don't allow this. Many also don't allow the provisioning of more that one server, they assume that each extension provisioned will use the same server. There may also be other "common" settings that just don't work properly when there is more than one server.

As far as your "no Audio" issue, you might want to be certain that each extension , on the set, has been assigned a unique local port. Even if this is the case, you local router may be having a problem handling the voice ports for a call. Codecs should not be an issue unless you have not included all possible types as being available.

Is the no audio problem on both extensions?
