Hello,

Has anyone noticed an issue with Yealink phones not providing the MWI notification after the upgrade to 16 SP5? I am running on Debian, but have not run into this issue before. I have tried selecting different settings in the following section of the user however nothing works;

I can recieve vm's via voicemail and they work just fine, its only the mwi indicator. I looked into the 3cxSystemService.log file and found the following message (not sure if its even relevant or not since I do recieve vm in email);

2020/06/19 08:37:39.804|28468|0012|Erro|VMMonitor: Error parsing voicemail info file '/var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Extensions/4036/vmail_+918999634331_4036_20200511200741.xml'

Is the voicemail setting 'Send vmail as attachment' ?

I do not think, the MWI lights up for voicemail send to email, only voicemails that can be retrieve by the handset

@Saqqara I believe you are correct. I have removed the send vm to email as a test on my yealink, but the mwi still does not indicate there is a vm waiting.

When did you make the change, the phone probably needs provisioning with the change - you can push it out - Phone - select the phone - Click on 'Reprovision' icon (along the top)

If you press the MWI key, and access the voicemail system , does it tell you have any messages ?

@Saqqara Thanks for the check. I did push out the reprovision to my phone. The MWI does work for the missed call, just not the vm. Yes, it does have the new vm's I left myself for testing, and does acknowledge that they are new messages when accessing vm via the button on the phone. Just no MWI for vm. All phones are using the default yealinkt4x template.

Not sure what happened, but I found an "ok" solution to this. Had to manually delete the voicemail messages for each user with issues in ; /var/lib/3cxpbx/Instance1/Data/Ivr/Voicemail/Extensions
Now when they receive new vm's it will notify them.

Odd for sure, but we are up and going again.
