Naming SBC’s

Hey Team,

Can someone tell me if it’s possible to name your SBC’s so you can tell between them in the 3CX Management Console?

I have a customer where I will need to deploy 5 of these and need to tell one from the other!

I guess strictly speaking the IP address would do this for me, but when choosing SBC from the dropdown list does this list all of the SBC’s or do they all fall under the one name only to be controlled by the Private IP address?

The only way to tell different SBC's apart in the management console is by identifying the IP's.
When you plug a phone behind an SBC it will appear in the phones tab as a new phone via the IP of the SBC. When assigning the phone to the extension the IP of the SBC will be populated automatically as the PBX knows that the specific phone has sent the request through a specific SBC.
If you manually add the phone under an extension (which you should not do) you will need to manually assign the IP of the SBC in the extension settings.
