Hi,

Just new to 3CX and evaluating the purchase.

During an attempt to get a Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 to work as a fax extension with 3CX, I managed to get the SR140 to register it as the default 888 fax extension.
Anyway routing inbound faxes to the fax wasn't working (line dropped immediately).

After removing the registration settings on the SR140, to my surprise, I can't get the native fax to email working anymore.
It just hangs the line with a 480 no matter what extension I pick (in this case 543).

Before it was working fine and I have no clue regarding what to do.
It seems to me that 3CX FAX is broken/not working somehow.

I already rebooted premanently dc the SR140 etc..
Is there any way to reset fax settings to default or undo the actual situation without reinstalling?

Sorry for the double post but for whatever reason the board wasn't showing the post.
I reinstalled the whole thing just to be sure.
Now there is a rather strange behavior.
First time I tried the fax replies (I hear the sound).
Subsequent tries, fax picks up but stays silent.
It seems a bit unstable atm.

I can't get the Dialogic SR140 to work. Same goes for the native fax.
I'll try picking up on the logs but I am rather clueless atm.

I had a similar issue as mentioned above with a FAX machine via FXS gateway to 3CX and was able to solve it by changing speed/baud rate settings on the physical machine.

Just mentioning this in the event you have some sort of equivalent, however cannot comment further since I have only ever deployed physically via gateway integration.
