Hi!
Im having some problem with a paxton net2 entry and 3cx.
Ive installed one at my office, configurated to just call the 3cx app and everything works fine.

But now ive installed the same solution at my clients place, and there i cant get the net2 entry to call.
Im using the free version of 3cx, added all users under extensions, configurated the net2 entry with the sip.
When i log in to the 3cx system i can see the net2 entry "online" in extensionlist, and under "phones".
I configurated the system the same way i did on my office.
Done the firewall check and everything, and everything green there.
I cant see a call in the "call list" when ive tried to make a call from the entry, but calling from one app to another works fine and that shows in the list.

I called the IT-department at my clients place, and he couldnt see anything was blocked in the firewall/network.

Someone have any suggestion on what might be the problem?

Best regards!

Start a wireshark trace in 3CX, Make the call from Net2 then check the log.

Is the 3CX on the same LAN as the net2?

Is it configured for STUN?

I will trace with wireshark tomorrow!

Yes it’s the same Lan

Sorry, what is “STUN”?

English is my second language so some shortenings and things I don’t fully understand..

Does the 3CX pass the firewall test?

Have a look at wireshark.

Have a look at wireshark.
I dont really know what im looking for here..
FE:80:20b is the net2 entry.
Fe:80:dd96 is the computer.

Should it be over ipv6?
As said before, this is new to me, sorry for many beginners questions...

What devices are these IPs?

Does this site have a DNS server?

https://www.3cx.com/docs/creating-fqdn-split-dns/

Try changing the server details within Net2 to point to IP of the local 3CX instead of FQDN.

theres no reply either so check this IP isnt blacklisted on the 3CX.
The 2.33 is the computer 3cx is installed on.
2.1 is the router/gateway.

It has the FQDN that comes with 3cx.
I can reach it from outside the site, like my own office with the xxx.3cx.se

And insite with the lokal ipadress, 192.168.2.33:port

Ive tried changing the server details within net2, still the same..

No blacklists in the 3cx either... Cant see the call from the net2 in call logs, but from app to app i can see...

Stick 3CX to verbose logging, restart, test and check the logs.

Hi

you said the devices are on the same LAN but they're sending invites to/from what I presure is the WAN Address?

What you should see is ext@PBX LAN IP.

The ip of the computer that acts onsight server and the net2 is on the same LAN.
The devices it tries to call is phones that uses the 3cx app.
Can that be why it shows like that?
