Solved No Internet Access on PC Port

I checked this thread and followed the instructions here regarding setting the PC Port VLAN and leaving the two values as the default, however that is not working for us.

I tried enabling the PC Port VLAN option on two different phones with the same result. These are both Grandstream GXP2160's. This only happened after re provisioning phones after upgrading to V16

Hi, please make sure you updated to the latest templates and firmware version for your phone, they are on by default now and your ports should be activated.

I had the same problem with a gxp2170.

Ah I got it. There was no prompt for updates in the top corner and when I clicked on it, it said my system was up to date. I had to go to the updates page and at the bottom there was the updated template. This is resolved, but I feel like that should have been a notification under the notifications button at the top. I seem to recall the updates listing updates for the system, SIP trunks, firmwares and templates all being listed at the top.
