No missed call notification with forwarding action "End Call"

Hello,

as the title says I don't get a missed call notification when the forwarding action is set to End Call and someone tries to call me.

Is this intended behaviour?

YES! I saw that setting and was curious about exactly that which is why I asked you to screenshot. It appears that playing a busy prompt makes it a valid state and therefore doesn't show as a missed call. Just tested and had the same behavour. It also plays an audio message letting you know that the call was not recieved. Glad we resolved it =)

Yes, that destination will consider the call completed so no missed call is generated.

Having to choose between getting missed call notifications or busy prompts is not ideal to say the least.

So end users are either confused when they call someone who is busy and the call just ends, or they get no missed call notifications?

Why end the call, why not sent it to voicemail? The caller reaches a destination, and is able to leave a message, if they wish, (which is the behaviour most callers expect) and in doing so the called party is aware that they called.

Agreed - you could even have a voicemail with no reply simply saying "No-oone was here" and hangup.
