No more 3CX Legacy provisioning file in welcome mail ?

Was just forced to update to V18 U8 because of activating new license and notice there is no 3CX-provisioning file for the Legacy 3CX Windows app anymore in the welcome-email.

Is there a way to get the Legacy Windows app working on a new extension or a work-around? The web-client is not an option currently and I'm looking at a way to get a .3cxconfig file for the new extension.

MGMT Console > Settings > Parameters

Edit ATTACH_3CXCONFIG_WELCOMEEMAIL to 1.

Resend your welcome email and change it back to 0.

The file and password were removed from the welcome email this past spring/summer. Going forward 3CX wants people to log in to the web client to set up the apps (as opposed to leaving passwords and connection files sitting in email forever where a hacker can find it).
