No swap file detected in instance manager

V16 hosted on amazon lightsail with one gb memor. My instance manager is showing me this error message.

No swap file detected. The system stability is at risk as no swap file is created. This can cause unexpected service interruption. To address this matter connect via ssh onto the host and execute the following command: "sudo apt-get install dphys-swapfile". Remote interactions are disabled due to this reason.

Should I follow the directions and activate a swap file? I am having odd behavior with the system, the office is on SBC and the phones wont show up for provisioning.

if your Lightsail instance is older than almost 3 to 6 past months, you have swap file not created because of a miss in pbxexpress installation process at this time, now this is fixed and new instances are created with swap.

Was there something confusing about the wording of the message? It seems pretty clear to me.

Yes you should do exactly as it says. Don't think it's related to your phone provisioning issue but it certainly won't hurt it. Generally if your phones don't show up for provisioning for either a local PBX or SBC it's because you haven't factory reset them or they aren't on the correct firmware. Great, thanks guys for the hand holding! I followed the instructions as listed in the instance manager, and did 4 of my 5 that were showing the error. Took about 15 minutes for the instance manager to reflect the changes. I did a reboot following the swap command. All is well.

As for provisioning, Yealink T48S phones are on 3cx recommended firmware, I was just swapping handsets as one had died. I reset the phones to factory by simply holding in the "OK" button on the front of the yealink handset. Rebooted the 3cx instance and the two sbc's, switched sbc's back and forth and still no luck, had to get it done with the yealink built in provisioning using the link as displayed under the provisioning tab for the extension. My next step would be to reboot the firewall as it seems the pnp broadcast was not making it across.

Across what? Broadcast traffic is not supposed to cross a firewall typically. That's the whole point of broadcast domains. For PnP to work 3CX or the SBC need to be in the same broadcast domain as the phones.
